Here at The Oaksmere provenance is at the heart of our restaurant and bar. We are richly blessed in East Anglia with superb farms and produce so why look any further? On our menus you will always see the best of the local fare thoughtfully prepared by our enthusiastic kitchen team.
Sizzling in our British built charcoal grill ‘Bertha’ oven are succulent steaks locally reared then prepared and hung for 28 days in our on-site butchery for optimal flavour. You can also sample award winning pork from the world renowned Butler farm in Blythburgh. Wherever possible our fish and seafood hails form the bounteous waters of the North Sea.
Within our 17 acres of grounds lies a three quarter acre walled Victorian kitchen garden which provides our chefs with fresh picked seasonal fruits and vegetables cultivated under the watchful eye of Simon our head gardener.
We are always searching for new produce and products from the abundance of local artisans to give the real flavour of East Anglia and we build meaningful and lasting relationships with them, who are often to be found in our bar.
Excellent food, drink and service is our passion. We look forward to you sampling what The Oaksmere has to offer.
