Welcome to The Oaksmere
Situated in the heart of Suffolk and hidden down a stunning lime tree avenue The Oaksmere is an independent restaurant and pub with 14 bespoke bedrooms. The main building boasts an assortment of stunning architecture the earliest of which can be found in our traditional pub at the heart of the building dating to the 16th century. Throughout the years various additions were made and a full renovation restoring the building, 147acres of grounds and a working walled garden was completed in 2014.
The heart of our business starts in the kitchen where our Head Chef Adam Crimmin and his team create dishes starting with ingredients grown our own Victorian Walled gardens and foraged from the grounds. Produce is all sourced locally and sympathetically to seasons in order to show the incredible larder that East of Anglia has to offer.
Our aim is to create a space for everyone to enjoy the many wonderful and varied attributes The Oaksmere has to offer whether you are popping by for a quick pint, a romantic escape, family meals, celebrations or a dinner with friends.
We look forward to seeing you soon.
